Autumn activities list

With students back on campus, clubs and organizations have been hard at work planning events right from the start of the semester. Here are some more that are coming up to keep you in the loop so you don't miss out on the fun.

Bingo & Drama: If you are in the mood for bingo, Lasell’s Campus Activities Board has you covered. On September 24, you can find them in the de Witt Hall where Queen Mizery will be hosting “Drag” Bingo. Make sure to come to check it out to win some fantastic prizes. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the event starts at 8 p.m..

Celebrations & Events: On Tuesday September 27, from 6-7 p.m. Psi Chi will have a table right outside the dining hall on Pillow Talk: Sleep Education & Strategies for students to become more informed on healthy sleeping habits. On September 28, at 2 p.m. the Donahue Institute for Equity and Social Justice will be hosting the Annual LatinX/Hispanic Heritage Month celebration. Come by the Intercultural Center and Commuter Cottage for some great food and music. Then on September 30, join the Class of 2025 with their Sophomore Connection: Mixer and Mocktail Hour from 4-6 p.m.on the first floor of the Arnow Campus Center.

Speaker Events: On September 28, you can join Michael Alexander at Commuter Coffee Hour held in the Intercultural Center and Commuter Cottage at 11 am. Food and beverages will be supplied. The Donahue Institute for Equity and Social Justice is also in the process of organizing a talk on more representation for Native Americans in various media works for the future. More details for this event will be available at a later time.

Counseling Center: On September 23 & 30, the Counseling Center at Mott House will be hosting Stronger Together at 3:30p.m. This is where students with loved ones struggling with addiction can come and speak about their experiences confidentially. Also on September 27, the Counseling Center will be hosting Empower Hour, centering on the Black, Indiginous, and people of color experience at Lasell. This event will be from 2:00p.m.-3 p.m. on the second floor of the Arnow Campus Center Room 223A.

Center for Community Based Learning: The CCBL will be hosting an online info session on what they do and how to get involved with them on September 26, at 6:30 p.m. The CCBL is also looking for student workers! You can apply for a position with them on Handshake between the dates September 18-24 and 25-30.

Weekly Activities: Every week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m., Well at Lasell will be hosting Just Run With It. Meeting at Mott House, you can participate in a weekly running program to stay in shape and get you on your way to be ready to run in your at-home turkey trot come Thanksgiving. If running is not quite your speed you can slow it down to yoga every Wednesday at 5 p.m. and Fridays at 10 a.m. in de Witt Hall. No experience required and all are welcome.
