The New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE) evaluated Lasell campus-wide from Sunday, Nov. 6 to Wednesday, Nov. 9 to determine where the university stands on reaccreditation.

The accreditation process has taken place every ten years at Lasell since 1932 and was last accredited in 2012. Every five years, the university is given a report which highlights areas where the institution has strengthened itself while also offering improvements that should be made.

The team visiting to assess Lasell was headed by Chair and President of Bay Path University Sandra Doran. The evaluation process included interviews and forums with diverse groups of people throughout campus including students, professors, faculty members, and athletes.
